A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO CONSENTING
1 TO THE COMENCEM NT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN INHABITED
2 TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION

4 WHEREAS,, on April 20, 1964, Petition No. 1 in the files of
the City Cleric of the City of San Jacinto was presented to the
5 City Council of the City of San Jacinto requesting the council
to give its consent to the commencement of annexation proceedings
6 in connection with that certain inhabited territory therein
referred to and generally described, which is contiguous to the
7 City of San Jacinto; and
8 WHEREAS, said petition was referred to the Planning Commission
of the City of San Jacinto for investigation, report and recommendation;
9 and
10 WHEREAS,, the Planning Commission rendered its report and recom-
mendation to the council on the 20th day of April, 1964, favoring the
11 commencement of annexation proceedings; and
12 WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council to give its
consent to the commencement of such annexation proceedings upon
13 condition that the electors within said territory be informed at
the time the petition for annexation is circulated that the question
14 to be submitted to said electors shall be whether the territory
shall be annexed.

NCV.4 TREREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
16 of San Jacinto:
17 1. That consent be and hereby is granted for the commence-
ment of annexation proceedings in connection with said inhabited
18 territory in accordance with the Annexation Act of 1913.
19 2. That said unincorporated territory be and hereby is
designated as "Annexation #5", and is described as follows:
