A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA
MUNICIPALITY, ASSUMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ENFORCE-
MENT OF STATE MOBILEHOME PARKS ACT AND RELATED MATTERS
WHEREAS
HEREAS the City of San Jacinto intends to become actively engaged in the
enforcement of State' s Mobilehome Parks Act-, and

WHEREAS the California Legislature at its 1967 session passed Chapter 1056,
Ali Statutes of 1967, repealing the Mobilehomes and Mobilehome Parks Law and enacting
Part 2. Mobilehomes, and Part 2.1 , Mobilehome Parks Act, which became effective
November 8, 1967; and
5 WHEREAS the State Mobilehome Parks Act applies statewide; and

WHEREAS the City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, California, in accord-
11 ance with the provisions of Section 18300 of the Health and Safety Code, desires
7 E to enforce said Mobilehome Parks Act's inspection and licensing program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacin-
to as follows:
PART ONE: That the City of San Jacinto does assume responsibility for the
10 enforcement of Part 2.1 of Division 13 of the California Health and Safety Code
and the Rules and Regulations of the' California Administrative Code, Title 8,
Part 2, Chapter 2, Articles 2, 2.3, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4 and 5 and other applicable laws
12 PART TWO: That the City Planning Department shall enforce all the provisions
I� of said Act pertaining to the location, design and improvement of mobilehome,

l, travel trailer. recreational and temporary trailer parks in the incorporated area
14 , of the City of San Jacinto.
PART THREE: That the Department of Building and Safety of the City of Sall
l 5 � Jacinto shall enforce all the provisions pertaining to the construction, recon-
16 struction, alteration or modification of such mobilehome, travel trailer, recrea-
tion and temporary trailer parks.
17 PART FOUR: That the Department of Building and Safety of the 'City of San
Jacinto shall enforce all the provisions pertaining to the operation, maintenance,
18 use, occupancy and sanitation of such mobilehome, travel trailer, recreational
19 and temporary trailer parks.
