SPECIAL ANNEXATIbN ELE[;,riCN AND FIXING A TIME AND
PLACE FOR PROTESTS BY PRDPERTY OWNERS.

2 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council. of the City of San Jacinto:
3 1. That It is the intention of the City Council of the City of San
4 Jacinto to call a special election to be held in certain inhabited terri-
,5 tory contiguous to said city, proposed to be annexed theretoo for the pur-
6pose of submitting to the qualified voters residing in said territory the
riot said territory shall, be annexed. to the City 7 question of whether or f y of
8 San Jacinto.
Q 'Said territory is described as follows'
10 j All of Farm Lots 71 and 73 and a partion of Farm Lot 69 of the
San Jacinto Land Association as shown by map on file in Book 8,
it Page 357 of Maps, Records of San Diego County, State of California,
being Section 35, Township 4 jouth, Range 1 Westj San Bernardino
121j' Base and Meridian, in said Riverside Countyo State of California,
being more particularly described as follnixis-

asginning at the most Southeasterly corner of said Farm Lot 73,
14 also being point of the center lines of San Jacinto Avenue and
Esplanade Avenue;

Thence Northerly along the most Easterly lines of said Farm Lots
16 73, 71 and 69 to the ti-ost Northeasterly corner of aaid Farm Lot 69
also being the center line of Son Jacinto Avenue-*
Thence Westerly along the Northerly line of the Easterly one-halr
18 of said Farm Lot E9, to the center point of the said Northerly
line of said Form Lot 69;

Thence Southerly along the Westerly line of the Easterly one-half

of said Farm Lot 69, to the Northerly line of said Farm Lot 71,

also the center point of said Northerly line of said Farm Lot 719
21 Thence 'ojesterly along the North,,-,r.IV line of the Westerly one-half
22 of said Farm Lot 71, to the Northwesterly corner of said Farm Lot 71;
2 3) Thence Southerly along the WpsterlV lines of said Farm Lots 71 and
73, also being the center line of Santa Fe Avenue, to the South-
24 westerly corner of said Farm Lot 73, also being the point of center
lines of Santa Fe Avenue and Esplanade Avenue;

Thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said Farm Lot 73 to the

point of beginning, also being the center line of Esplanade Avenue.
27 2. That said territory hereby is designated and identified as "An-
28 vexation No. 911.
29 3. Notice is hereby given tho.it on the 18th day of February at the
30 Ihour of 7-30 p.m. , or as soon thereafter as the Council ray hear the matter,)
31 I in the Courtroom of the San Jacinto Justice Court, 300 East Main Street,
32 San Jacinto, California, any person owning real. property within said ter-
l,iritory so proposed to be annexed and having any objection to the proposed

2 1 annexation may appear before said City Council and show cause why Such ter-
- ritory should not be annexed, 513'uch protest must be in writing and shall i

4 state the name or names of the owner or owners of the property affected by
5 such annexation and the location and area of such property in general terms® �ers
6 III It be found the',, the protest is o c sent made by Public: and private own
7 IeqUal to one-half of the value of the territory further proceedings shall be
8 Itaken in accordance with the law for the holding of such special election.
9 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
I 10and cause the same to be published in the Valley Register two weeks prior
11 Ito the hearing and to cause copies of this resolution to be posted in at
12 lBa,9t three public pieces within the said territory proposed to be, annexed
13 hereafter described at least ten days prior to the hearing. The public
14 places shall lie within reasonable proximity to the public rights of way ad-,
15 jacent to the improved roads as follows- (1) on the northeast corner of
16 ,lithe intersection of' San jacinto Avenue and Esplanade streetw (2) On the

i Northwest cornor of the intersection of San J cinto Avenue and Esplanade
18 Street at Potter s Hamburger Standl and (3) On the West side of San Jacinto
19 Avenue at or near the westerly prolongation of the center line of S 11 a v a r
20 Street.
