1 RESOLUTION NO. 797
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY,
31l ESTABLISHING RATES FOR THE COLLECTION OF GAR-
BAGE AND RUBBISH COLLECTED WITHIN OR BY THE
SAID CITY OF SAN JACINTO AND ESTABLISHING A
MEANS OF BILLING FOR CHARGES MADE THEREFOR,
) i AND TO SECURE PAYMENTS BY DEPOSITS.
61 The City Council of the City of San Jacinto, a California
7ii Municipality,, does hereby resolve as follows :
8 1. This resolution supersedes and repeals Resolution No.
9 612-A made October' 15 , 1963, - of said City.
10 2. For the privilege of having garbage and rubbish collected
11 as provided in Article 11 of the Code of the City of San Jacinto
12 there shall be assessed and charged :
13 '{{ (a) For the owner or occupant of residences : $1.75 per
14I month;
15 (b) For the owner or operator of multiple unit dwellings
16 each having kitchen facilities ; $1.75 per month for each of the

17 first two units and $0.50 per month for each garbage or rubbish
18 can of thirty (30) ; gallons or less size collected in excess of four
19 of such thirty (30') gallon or less cans onthe monthly average;
20 ! (c) For the owner or operator of any commercial establish'
211 merit: a minimum of $1.75 per month, and such additional balance
22 in excess thereof as shall be adjusted between the Collector and
23 the owner or operator of said commercial establishment, on the
24 basis of time and materials expected to be expended in making such
25 collection, however; all additional balances previously; adjusted
26 are hereby increased by fifteen (15/) percent of the balance in
27 effect prior to the effective date of this resolution;
28 (d) For the owner or operator of any commercial trailer
29 park. Thirty-five (35) cents per month for each trailer space

301 located in said trailer park, collection to be made two or more
31 times per week;
32 (e) The City Council may provide that rubbish not included

within the definition of either "garbage" or "waste", as provided
21 in Section 11-1 of the city Code, be collected by the City for

31 such charge the City Manager or other officer so authorized by the

41 City Council ,may .determine to be fair and proper in each individual �

.6 3 . The above charges shall be billed on the water bill assess
7 1 ed against the premises concerned and shall be effective immediate)
8 as per bills rendered and payable on or before the ;2lst day of j
9 December, 1968. The charges herein provided shall be secured by
10 !I any deposits made for water service,

4.. The City Council does so resolve pursuant to the authority
12 vested in it by the provisions of Section 11-18 of the city Code of
13 said City®
14 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting of
15 the City Council of the City of San Jacinto duly held on the
16 nineteenth day of November, 1968.
