RESOLUTION No. 789
2 RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 'SAN JACINTO TO
INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION PROCEEDINGS TO
ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY,DE

6 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO:
7 1, That the Council of the City of San Jacinto, for the rea
8 sans hereinafter mentioned, proposes to initiate on its own motion,
9 as soon. as it can legally do so, proceedings to annex to the City
10 of San 'Jacinto all of the territory hereinafter described, as un-
inhabited territory, under provisions of the Annexation of Uninhab=
12 ited Territory Act of 1939 as set 'forth in Sections 35300 to 35326,
13 , inclusive, of the Government Code of the State off-California.
In 2 That the Councils' reasons for proposing to initiate said
15 annexation proceedings are as follows - The annexation of the' here-
1G inafter described territory will contribute to the orderly growth
17 of the City, provide the proper control of street layout, drainage,
18 sanitary sewer design, extension of water lines and insure proper
19 use of the laud inconformity with the overall zoning plan of the
20 City.
21 3. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex is
22 hereby identified as ".Annexation No. 10 ", and consists of all that

4. That the Planning and Development Assistant of the City
2 of San Jacinto is hereby directed to file with the Boundary Com-
3 mission and with the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
County of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to initi- '
5 ate proceedings to annex the hereinabove described uninhabited
6 territory to the City of San Jacinto, and to request approval of
7 the Local Agency Formation Commission as provided for in Section
8 35002 of the Government Code.
