2 A RESOLUTION FIXING ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS OF
REMOVAL OF ABANDONED VEHICLES PURSUANT TO
3 ORDINANCE N0 459 'OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
AND DIRECTING AN INFORMATION CIRCULAR TO
4 ACCOMPANY NOTICES MAILED IN THE PROCEEDINGS
ESTABLISHED BY ORDINANCE NO. 459 .
6 � WHEREAS, ordinance No. 459, providing a procedure for the
re-
imoval of abandoned) etc . vehicles from private property has been
7 '! adopted by the Council of the City of San Jacinto and Section 13®7

of- the Code of the City of San Jacinto authorizes the fixing of an
amount to be assessed as administrative costs, excluding the actual
cost of removal of any vehicle or part thereof- and

WHEREAS, the Council is aware that private property owners may
101be confused upon receiving the notices sent to them pursuant to said
11 ordinance;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of
12 San Jacinto sitting in regular session this 2nd day of April, 1968
as -follows :
1. The administrative costs authorized to be fixed by Section
2-4 13-7 by said Ordinance and Article are hereby fixed to be in the

of $20 .00 effective upon the effective date of said Ordinance
Said administrative costs shall be in addition to the actual cost of
16 removal of any vehicle or part thereof.
2 . Whenever possible the initial notice sent pursuant to Sec-

� tion 13-8 of the City Code shall be accompanied by an information
1s , circular describing to the property owner how he might avoid the
lexpense -of the proceedings involved by other legal means for the
19 private disposal of the vehicle involved and how he might obtain
additional information concerning the proceeding.
