2� A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GRANT OF EASEMENT
FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES IN SALLEE PARKi

4 WHEREAS, the Master Plan of Highways for the County of River-
side has established Idyllwild Drive north of Sallee Park adjacent
51 to the northerly city limits of the City of San Jacinto for a sub
i stantially wider width that is presently in use; and
WHEREAS, the Southern California Edison Company and General
7 , Telephone Company,; as public utilities serving the City of San Jac-
1' into, are installing new lines and poles on Idyllwild Drive, and
81, have requested. the City;.Council of this city to grant them an ease,-
meat on the northerly portion of Sallee Park adjacent to Idyllwild
91 Drive for the location of the new lines and poles used by said
public utilities in preparation for the expected widening of Idyll-
wild Drive in the future; and.
111 WHEREAS, it is in the interest and for the convenience of the
public and the residents of the City of San Jacinto that these pub-
12 lic utility lines be located in an area where they are not likely
to interfere with the eventual widening of Idyllwild Drive and that
13 they be relocated now when an economic savings can be made while
the new lines and poles are being installed;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
15 of San Jacinto assembled in regular adjourned session this 26th
16day of March, 1968, as follows :
1. The Council finds that the foregoing facts are true .

2. The :Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized and. instructed
18 to execute a ,grant of easement to Southern California Edison ;Com-
pany and General Telephone Company, a copy of which is attached
19 hereto, ;marked 1°Exhibit 'AT1, which is incorporated herein be refer-
ence.

of 3 . The City Clerk is requested to transmit the Grant of Ease.-
ment to Southern California Edison Company for recording, following
execution and. acknowledgment .
