2 A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE HEMET-SAN JACINTO
AREA GENERAL PLAN AND PRESCRIBING THE MANNER
3 OF ENDORSEMENT OF GENERAL PLANS, AND THE
CHANGES AND OF ADDITIONAL ELEMENTS THEREOF.
5 WHEREAS, after notice dilly published and posted thereof, a pub-
lic hearing duly held by the Planning Commission of the 'City of San
6 Jacinto on February 15, '1968 to consider the adoption of the Hemet-
San Jacinto Area GeneralPlan prepared by the firm of Ruhnau, '' Evans
7 ! & Steinmann which was presented to the City of San Jacinto in Jan-
uary, 1968; and said hearing was dilly continued until February 29,
8 1968 and at said time the Planning Commission of the City of San
Jacintoby its Resolution No . 68-7 approved the said General Plan
9iwith one change; and

10 WHEREAS, the said Hemet-San Jacinto Area General Plan with the
( change incorporated by the Planning Commission has been ;presented
11 i to the Council for adoption; and
12 WHEREAS, notice of ;public hearing as hereinafter described was
( duly published in the Valley Register, a newspaper of general cir
13 , culation printed and published. in the County of Riverside and of
general circulation in the City of San :Jacinto and the said notice
14 was posted in three public places in the City of San Jacinto in the
' manner required by sections 65351 and 65355 of the Government Code;
15 , and
16 ' WHEREAS, the public hearing was duly held at 7 :30 PM. March
26, 1968 at the Courtroom, San Jacinto Justice Court, 300 East Main
17 i, Street, San Jacinto, California, and communications were received
both oral and in 'writing concerning the said General Plan and; evi®
18 ' dece of the foregoing facts were received together with the General
I! Plan and all 'maps thereof, and the hearing was duly closed; and

WHEREAS, the City Council determines that a General Plaza is
20 needed for the Hemet-San Jacinto area as contained, in the General
Plan as ':presented in order to adequately plan, and guide the growth
21 and development of the City of San Jacinto and the nearby area and
that the General Plan presented meets the need of such a general
22 I plan;
23 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
, of San Jacinto, State of California, sitting in regular adjourned
24 session this 26th day of March, 1968 as follows .

25 1. The City Council finds that the facts stated hereinabove
are true.

2e The Hemet-San Jacinto Area General Plan as approved by the
27 planning Commission of this city consisting of land use element,
public facilities element, recreation and parks element, traffic
28 circulation element , central business district elements; and other
elements, analysis and forecast, together with a master plan of
29 highways and a general plan kap be and are hereby approved .
301 3 . The Chairman and Secretary of the Planning Commission on
lbehalf of the Planning Commission and the Mayor and City Clem on
31 behalf of the City; Council shall endorse the sai-I General Plan and
all maps and documents thereto appertaining on the upper right hand i
32 ( corner in a manner substantially as follows :

i ' 4. Unless otherwise directed by the City Council of the City,
' all endorsements of general plans, changes, amendments or addition-
32 al elements thereto shall be endorsed by the Planning Commission and
the City Clerk as provided hereinaboveo '

5 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this reso-
14 lution and shall transmit copies of this resolution and of the gener-
al plan herein adopted in accordance with the requirements of Sec-
15 tion 65360 of the Government Code.
