21 A RESOLUTION ;OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO ACKNOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT OF NOTICE
351 OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION FOR THE
ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY'DESIGNATED' AS P°ANNEXATION
4 1NO. 9B7 'AND AN AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION THEREOF AND
AN AFFIDAVIT OF POSTING' THEREOF AND APPROVING THE
5 CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION. `
WHEREAS, on the `"th day of Fe!��uar , 1968, there
! was filed with the City C�er'� of the City of San Jacinto a copy of
a' notice of intention to circulate, a petition relating to the
annexation of certain territory to the City of San Jacinto, under
the Annexation Act of 1913, pertaining to territory designated as
9 "Annexation No . 911 accompanied by 'a written statement containing
reasons for the petition together with an affidavit of publication:
10 of said notice in the Valley Register and an affidavit of posting
said notice in the three public places in San Jacinto used for
11 posting City ordinances and
2.2 WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the` legis-
lative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the
13 notice and approving the circulation of the petition;
14 NOW, THEREFORE., , BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Jacinto :

1 . That the receipt of the notice, statement and affidavits
16 is hereby acknowledged, and that approval is hereby given for the
circulation of the petition for annexation of that territorydesign
17 nated as "Annexation No . 9: , twenty-one days after the publication
18 and posting of said notice and statement .
zg2, The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution,
20 ADOPTED this 20th day of February, 1968 by the following
vote :
