3. RESOLUTION NO.
2 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF LAND FROM ALEXANDER BANGER FOR POSSIBLE
WIDENING OF SEVENTH STREET.
41I WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of SanJacinto has been
petitioned by the `'users of Seventh Street, residents and citizens
f� l of this City to assist in the widening and improving of Seventh
71 Street east of Hewitt Street on the boundary line of the City of
S� Sara Jacinto in cooperation with the County of Riverside; and
sl WHEREAS, the 'County of Riverside has appropriated funds for I
part of the above-described purpose and is studying the appropria-
tion of additional funds for the widening and improvement of 'Seven-
th Street; and
WHEREAS, The County of Riverside, Road Department, has requesteO
L" the City of San Jacinto to arrange for the acquisition of land to

widen Seventh Street on the south side where that land is located :
16 in the City of Sari Jacinto as a condition for further. consideration
�I of the project by the County; and
WHEREAS, the said land is owned by, Alexander Banger, being a
part of a corner parcel of approximately three acres at the south
east corner of the intersection of Seventh Street and Hewitt Street,
+ ,i and a contract for the purchase and sale of said parcel has been
presented for approval and execution,

l. The City Council finds that the acquisition of a thirty

is more particularly described below, is necessary for the common
convenience of the residents of the City of San Jacinto for possi
" ble dedication and improvement for widening of Seventh Street in

cooperation with. the County of Riverside for the widening of

to be conveyed and to accept its condition and adequacy of des-

That certain real property located in the City of San
Jacinto, County of Riverside, State of California
t more particularly described as follows :
" " The Northerly '30 feet of that portion of Tract XXV of

the Partition of the Rancho San Jacinto Viejo as
shown by Map on file in the office of the County Cleric
of San Diego County and as shown by decree in Parti-
tion of said Rancho recorded in Boole 43 page 161 of;
Deeds, San Diego County Records, described as follows :
Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Tract XXV,
thence North 000 03 ` East, on the Easterly line of
