6 �1 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO:
1 . That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of
BI Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939,, proceedings have been initiated
9i by the Council of the City of San Jacinto, on its own motion, to
10 annex to the City of San Jacinto all that uninhabited territory
1w � situate in the County of Riverside, State of 'California, hereby
12 designated as T1Annexation No. 71tl and described as follows ;

1 2 . That the Council of the City of San. Jacinto desires to
2 � annex said uninhabited territory to the City of San Jacinto for the
following reasons . The territory is contiguous to the City of San'

4 Jacinto, and its proposed annexation will contribute to and
5 ( facilitate the orderly growth and development of both the City and
6 the territory proposed to be annexed; will extend municipal services
71 and additional fire protection to the territory including the new
8 high school being constructed; will facilitate and contribute to
91 the proper and orderly layout, design and construction of streets,
1. gutters, sidewalks; sanitary and storm water sewers and drainage

11 facilities , both within the City and within the territory proposed; ;
1. 'i to be annexed:; and will provide and facilitate proper overall.:
1.3 planning and zoning of lands, and subdivision of lands in said. City

?4 and said uninhabited territory, in a manner most conducive to' the

15 welfare of said City and said uninhabited territory.

y6) 3 . That the Local Agency Formation Commission of Riverside i
171, County, California, did in session duly assembled on or about

?C � April 20, 1967 , approve the proposed annexation together with the
I boundaries of said "Annexation No. 7" as above described and as
20 submitted to said Commission by the Council of the City of San E
21 ,, Jacinto.

23 ! of` 7 :30 P.M. or as soon thereafter as the Council may hear it, in

24 the Courtroom, San Jacinto Justice Court, at '300 ,past Main Street
2 e! in the City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, California, is
26i hereby fixed as the time and -p lace when and where any person owning
:27i real property within the uninhabited territory above described and
;?f proposed to be annexed to the City of San Jacinto, and having any
191 objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the

Sol Council of the City of San Jacinto and show cause why such unin-
3111 habited territory should not be so annexed to said City of San
3211 Jacinto'. Such protest must be in writing, may be filed at any time

1II, said City of San Jacinto, the city to which it is proposed to

14' outside the City of San Jacinto, but in the County of Riverside, c
15i California, the county in which is located the territory proposed
16 to be annexed to the City of San Jacinto, said publication to be

complete at least twenty (20) days prior to the date set for s

19� 6. The City Clerk is further authorized and directed to
2011 cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to

12i each person to whom land within the territory proposed to be
22 annexed is assessed in the last equalized county assessment roll
231 available on the date the above said proceedings were initiated,

241 at the addresses shown on said assessment roll or known to the j
2v Clerk, and to any person who has filed his name and address and the
261I designation of the lands in which he has an interest , either legal
27! or equitable, with the Clerk, such notice to be given not less than
28, twenty (20) days before the first public hearing on the proposed

7 . In the event any land within the territory proposed to
311 be annexed is owned by a county, the City Clerk is directed to
32 � cause written notice of such proposed annexation to be mailed to

S the governing body of such district , such notice to be sent not
9 � less than ten (10) days before the first public hearing upon such
10 annexation. F
111 9 . The City Clerk shall transmit without delay a copy of
1,2 this resolution to the Trustees, San Jacinto Unified School District .
