3 RATES FOR 14ATER SERVICE 'INSIDE AND
OUTSIDE THE CITY OF SAN'JACINTO.

5 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
6 sitting ; in regular session this 7th day of March, 1967, that Resolu-
7 tion No. 719 adopted January 10, 1967, is amended by amending
8 Tiaragraphs 3, 4 and 5 of said resolution to read as folloitas :
9 3 . Pursuant to the provisions of 'Sec . 21-25 the rollowing
10 schedule of minimum charges for metered service inside the City is
11 hereby established asfollows :

'201 4. Pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 21-26 the following

22i addition to the minimum charges as set forth in paragraph 3 above

1 5 . Pursuant to the authority of Section 21-28(a) 'the City
2 Council hereby establishes the minimum charge for temporary metered
3 service for construction and flooding purposes . The minimum charge
4 for any rental period of less than thirty days shall be $5 .00, pay-
8 able in advance, for the first two days or less, and a charge of
6' $1 .00 per day for each 'day following the first two days of use . For
7 temporary metered 'service hired for a minimum period of thirty days
8 or more, a minimum charge of $15 .00 shall be; paid in advance for
9 the first thirty days and .fifty cents a day will be charged for
10 each day thereafter. In addition to the minimum charges of this
11 paragraph, the user shall pay the 'rates for quantities of water
12 prescribed in paragraphs 1 and 2 hereinabove> vaithout regard to
13 minimum rate. Thus, a temporary metered service for three days using
141 one thousand cubic feet inside the city shall be charged $9 .00, and
15i temporary metered service hired for a thirty day rental period for
16 31 days of use, having consumed 2,100 cubic feet inside the city
17 shall be charged $221 . 70 For purposes of this paragraph, the per
18 day charge shall be charged upon a five day week. All of the fore-
19 going rates shall apply when the user agrees to return the water
'20i met'-er to the city in as; good'- condition as it was loaned to him,
21 ordinary wear and tear excepted . In the event the user refuses to
22I agree to be the absolute insurer of the, water, meter, ordinary wear
23, and tear excepted, the foregoing minimum rates shall be doubled.
