A ..ESOLUTION OF Till; CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAV
JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, DECLARING ITS
INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON ALLEYS IN THE BLOCK
LYING WEST OF STATE STREET AND NORTH OF DILLON STREET
AND SOUTHOF COTTONWOOD AVENUE
WHEREAS, it is desirable and appropriate that certain alleys located in the
City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, State of California, be vacated and
abandoned for the reason that said alleys are unnecessary for present prospec-
tive public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
San jacinto sitting in regular session, on the 7th
day of August 19 73 as follows ;
1. That it hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon
all rights-of-way and easements for public use for alleysdescribed
in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
2 .- That the City Council of the City of San Jacinto hereby determines
that public convenience and necessity reeluire that no interest be
reserved in and to said easements .
3 . 7 :30 P.M. on the 4 th day of September 19 73
at the Council Chambers, 201 East Main Street, San Jacinto, California
is hereby set as the time and place for the public :fearing of all per-
sons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation and abandonment.
4. The map, marked Exhibit B dated August 7 , 1973 ,
and upon which the real property subject to -the easements proposed to
be vacated has been designated by a shading of red color on said map, ,
on file in the office of the City Clerk, may be reviewed for the
particulars of the proposed vacation and abandonment„
5 . The City Clerk is instructed to the certify to the adoption of
this resolution and to cause the same to be published one time. in the
Valley Register, a rcwsaa , ?rinted and published in the County of
Riverside, not less than fifteen days prior to the hearing fixed
'herein.
6 . The Superintendent of Public Works is directed vo cause notice
of this intended vacation and abandonment to be posted conspicuously
along said porno .s of said casement not less -than in three places and
not less than three hundred feet apart at least 10 days prior to
the date of vne hearing fixed herein.
7 . The City Council of the City of San Jacinto declares that. oy "-he
adoption of this resolution i'es intention to proceed pursuant to the
provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 Com-
mencing at Section 8300 of the Streets and Highways Code .
S. The said Ci y Council hereby finds and deterraines that no stye
element of the genoral plan adopted by this City requires or refers to

to the easements proposed to be vacated and abandoned herein and that
the Planning commission of this city has reported the same finding
to the city Council. $

EXHIBIT A
Said alleys consist of easements for right of way, public
utilities and other public purposes on and in the following described
property located in the City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, State
of California, described as follows :
PARCEL ONE :The Southerly 8 feet of Lots 7, 8 and 9 and the Northerly 8 feet
of, Lots 16, 17 and 18 of Block 5 , of Estudillo Land and Water Company
Addition to San Jacinto per Book 9, Page 410 of Maps, official Records
of San Diego.County.
PARCEL TWO: An alley twenty feet in width lying easterly of Lots 1, 2 and 3,
and lying westerly of Lot 6, all of Block 5, of Estudillo Land and
Water Company Addition to San Jacinto per Book 9 Page 410 of Maps,
Official Records of San Diego County.
