I RESOLUTION NO. 988
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO.AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT
3 OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
4 WHEREAS:
5 A. The Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto duly held a public
hearing on '; f" -e .- s` r 7',4f to consider the proposed amendment of the
6 General Plan he t5 acte 'upon,, tn_cT by its Resolution No.,,s=-C- _ ' recommended
7 to the City Council that the amendment be adopted.
B. The Environmental Protection Commission of this city has considered
8 the proposed amendment in accordance with the standards it has been directed to
evaluate land use development.

C. A public hearing was duly held - #f 7' ! �3 by the City
10 Council after notice was duly posted and ,published. The following written or
oral communications were received from the members of the public:

13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council ofthe City of San
Jacinto, the date hereinafter stated, as follows :

15 1 . The Council finds the foregoing facts to be true.

20_ The Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of San
16 Jacinto is hereby amended as follows:
17 A change from low density residential to low medium residen-
tial uses located in the general area between Shaver and
18 Seventh Streets and Hewitt Street and the proposed Minor
19 Street; subject area indicated on Exhibit °'A" attached here-
to and incorporated herein by reference.

21 I 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and
cause a copy hereof to be transmitted to the Planning Departments of the County
22 of Riverside and the City of Hemet.
