RESOLUTION NO. 986
1 A RESOLUTION RULING ON OBJECTIONS "J
TO THE,PROPOSED REMOVAL OF WEEDS

�9 WHEREAS by Resolution No. 985 the City Council of the City of San dacin
3 did find certain noxious and/or dangerous weeds to be growing in or upon or ad-
jacent to the streets , sidewalks and private property in this city and declared
4 the same to be a public nuisance; and
5 WHEREAS by the sane resolution c1rie City Council called for a-public hearing
to be held an M at 7:30 m _a73 the Council Chambers at 201
6 East Main Street, San Jacinto, California; and
7 WHEREAS notice of said yesolution and of said hearing was duly posted in ac
cordance with Sections 39564 to 39567 , inclusive, of the Government Code; State of
& California; and

9 WHEREAS said hearing was duly held and no objections were made to the pro- 1
posed removal of weeds at said hearing„ and

WHEREAS the City Council of the City of San Jacinto finds that noxious and/
11 i' or dangerous weeds are growing in or upon or adjacent to real property described
_'' in Attachment "A" to Resolution No. 985, and they are seasonal and recurrent
12 nuisances except as follows :

NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of"'San Jacin
14 to, State of California, in regular session assembled this 22nd day of __M
1973' , as follows :

1 , All objections made to the proposed removal of weeds are hereby over-
16 ji ruled except as follows : none.
17 11 2. The Superintendent of Public 6sorks is hereby ordered to cause the abate-)
ment and removal of the weeds described on or adjacent to the real property de-
18 scribed in Attachment "A" to Resolution No 985 -,n accordance with the proced-
ure of Section 39572 et seq. of the Government Code „ and from time-to-time here- i
19 after as the weeds recur per Section 39562.1 .
20 3. The Superintendent of Public Works shall keep an account of the cost to
abate the public nuisances herein directed and to submit his itemized written re-
21 port to this Council as required by law,
22 4. The City Clerk is directed to set a public hearing for hearing the re-
port of the Superintendent of Public Works as herein directed at least three days '
23 later than the filing of the report in her office by the Superintendent of Public
" ! Works . The City Clerk shall post a copy of said report at least three days prior '
24 '' to the hearing on the same on or- near the Chamber Door of this City Council to-
gether with a notice of the time and place of the public hearing at which the re-
25 port will be submitted for approval by this Council
26 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of May 1973 .
