1 RESOLUTION NO. 985

2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, ACALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY , DE-
3 CLARING CERTAIN STREETS, SIDEWALKS AND PARCELS
OF PRIVATE PROPERTY AS PUBLIC NUISANCES, AND TO
4 BE SEASONAL AND RECURRENT NUISANCES DUE TO WEEDS.
5 WHEREAS the Superintendent of Public Works , having heretofore been designated
Eby the body, to perform the duties imposed by Article 2 of Division 3 of Title 4
C' !iQf the' Government Code, has submitted to this body evidence that noxious and
idangerous weeds are growing upon or adjacent to streets on land located in the
. City of San Jacinto, and that said weeds grow seasonally and recur from time-to-
timev and
9 WHEREAS the City Council elects to cause the abatement of said weeds under
the authority of Article 2 hereinabove cited;
10 NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacin-
to, State of California , in regular session assembled this 8th day of - May
11 1973 , as follows :
12I 1 . That the City Council of said city finds that certain noxious and/or
dangerous weeds are growing upon or in front of land near streets , as hereinafter
described, that said noxious and/or dangerous weeds are a public nuisance and that
4 the same are recurrent from time-to-time as a seasonal occurrence.
15 2. The City Council therefore declares these weeds to be a public nuisance
by authority granted to it by Section 39561 of the Government Code at the locations
16 within the City of San Jacinto , Count;.` of Riverside , State of California , as de-
scribed- in Exhibit "A" affixed to this r soini on which is incorporated herein by
17 reference as fully and completely as if it were set forth at length herein.
18 3. The City Clerk shall cause notice of znIs resolution together with
notice of the time for Bearing of objections to no findings herein to be mailed
19
as required by the provisions of Section 39561 .E o the Government Code.
20 4. On May 22, 1973 az the hour of 7 :30 p.m. , or as soon
thereafter as 00 Council may canvenienoly hear it , a� the Council Chambers at
21 201 East Main Street, San Jacinto, Cal ifor in , a ubl is nearing shall be held in
accordance with the provisions of Article 2 , Div > ion 3 of Title 4 of the Govern-
ment Code, and the property owners may then and there make ;.heir objections to
22 the proposed removal of weeds now and from time-to-time hereafter.
