2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF `SAN
JACINTO, 'CALIFORNIA, PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE
3 WEST SIDE OF PICO STREET BETWEEN MAIN AND FIFTH
STREETS, AND ON THE EAST' SIDE''OF JORDAN STREET
4 BETWEEN FIRST AND THIRD STREETS.
5 THIS RESOLUTION is adopted with reference to the following
facts:

A. Traffic and parking volume has increased on streets here-
-7 inafter'named so that it has become difficult to assure two-way
passage on such streets when parking is allowed on both sides.
B. The city Administration has attempted to poll the feelings
9i of the residents of said streets and has found them to be generally
receptive to the action herein taken.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
11 City of San Jacinto, in regular session, this 8th day of May, 1973,
as follows :`

1. The council finds the foregoing facts to be true .

2 . It is hereby directed that parking shall be prohibited
14 one
15 A. The west side of Pico Street between intersections
of Main and Fifth Streets.

B. The east side of Jordan Street, between First and
17 ' Third Streets .

18I 3 . ' The City Traffic Engineer shall cause the appropriate
I marking; to be placed at said locations and this resolution shall
191 become effective upon the placement of such marking.
20 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
21 resolution and transmit a copy hereof to the Division of Highways
for approval pursuant to the provisions of Section 21104 of the
2 Vehicle Code.
ADOPTED the 8th day of May, 1973, and signed this rr day
