2 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JJACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, REQUEST-
3 ING TRANSFER OF PART OF LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
FUND TO COOPERATIVE COMPREHENSIVE TRANSPORTATION
4 STUDY OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA.
5 WHEREAS .
6 A The City of San Jacinto is entitled to a portion of the
Local Transportation Fund, hereafter called the Fund, under the
,
7Local Transportation Development Act of 1971, hereafter called the
" Act;
9 B. Up to three percent of annual ,revenues under the Act is
10 expected to be expended for the conduct of transportation planning
as a high priority item,
111 C. The County of `Riverside,` State of California, wishes to
12 establish a county-wide comprehensive Transportation Planning Study,
which will include the area in which the City of San Jacinto lies,

D. The City of San Jacinto 'therefore desires approval of the
14 use of three percent of its entitlement of the Fund in cooperation
15 with the contribution of other cities of the County of Riverside
16 for said county-wide study.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
17 of San Jacinto sitting in regular session this 6th day ; of March,
18 1973 , that 'approval of the 'Southern California Association of Gov-
19 ernments is hereby requested for the expenditure of three percent
`
of the current annual revenues under the Local Transportation Act
20 of 1971 by payment to the County of Riverside for use in its
21 Cooperative Comprehensive Transportation Study Trust Fund, for use
22 for purposes of conducting a county-wide transportation plan study.
ADOPTED AND SIGNED this 6th 'day of March, 1973 .
