RESOLUTION NO. 971
1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT
2 OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
3 WHEREAS
4 A. The Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto duly held a public
hearing on August 15, 1972 to consider the proposed amendment of the land use
5 element of the General Plan herein acted upon and by its resolution No. 72-21
recommended to the City Council that the amendment be adopted.

B. The Environmental Protection Commission of this city has considered
7 the proposed amendment in accordance with the standards it has been directed to
evaluate land use development and found the proposed development will have no
8 unfavorable impact on the environment.
9 C. A public hearing was duly held December 26, 1972 by the City Council
after notice was duly published and posted. The following written or oral com-
10 munications were received from the members of the public: None.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Ja-
cinto, on the date hereafter stated , as follows :

1 . The Council finds the foregoing facts to be true.

2. The Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of San
14 Jacinto is hereby amended as follows :
15 From low density residential and light commercial to medium
low density residential on the Northwesterly 132 ft. of Lot
16 3, all of Lots 4, 5, 6 and the Southeasterly 33 ft. of Lot 7
of John J . Inwall 's Subdivision in the City of San Jacinto
17 as shown by map on file in Book 4, Page 180 of Maps , Records
of San Diego County, California , except that portion of Lots
18 6 and 7 lying within State Street as conveyed to the County
of Riverside by Deed recorded July 28, 1965 as Instrument
1,9 No. 86966. (Exhibit "A" attached. )
20 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution and
cause a copy hereof to be transmitted to the Planning Departments of the County
21 or Riverside and the City of Hemet.
22 ADOPTED the 26th day of December 1972.
