A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO AUTH-
2 '1 ORIZING THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS TO AL-
LOCATE FUNDS FROM THE LOCAL TRANSPORTATION FUND OF RIVERSIDE COUNTY
3 1 IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE 'S RULES AND REGULATIONS AND SB325
4 WHEREAS , the City of San Jacinto has submitted a transportation claim for
5 the allocation of $ 22,003.00 from the Local Transportation Fund of Riverside
6 County, and
7 WHEREAS, the Southern California Association of Governments has the auth
8 ority to review claims and allocate such funds in accordance with State's Rules
9 and Regulatians and SB 325 (1971 ) ; and
10 WHEREAS, the Southern California Association of Governments encourages
11 interjurisdictional coordination of transportation needs and increased coordina-
12 tion of transportation implementation plans ;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Jacinto hereby author-

141 izes the Southern California Association of Governments to allocate $ )2 ,003,00
15 to the City of San Jacinto for the purpose of improving streets for bicycle :and
16 pedestrian facilities.
17 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of San Jacinto further agrees to pro-
18 vide the above-designated recipient with such information as may be necessary to
19 support its transportation claim.
20 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20thday of September 1972.
