2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO
DESIGNATING THE SURVEYOR AND ROAD COMMISSIONER OF THE COUNTY
3 OF RIVERSIDE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS THE ACTING CITY ENGIN-
EER FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL OF SUBDIVISION MAPS WITHIN THE
4 CITY OF SAN JACINTO WHEN THE CITY ENGINEER MAY NOT ACT
5 This resolution is adopted with reference to the following facts:
6 A, John Brudin of the firm of Neste, Brudin &' Stone, Inc. , a profession-
al corooration of civil engineers , is the City Engineer of the City of San Jacin-
7 to, working on a part-time basis. Some of his employment other than for the City
of San Jacinto requires him to assist in the preparation of subdivision`maps for

the approval by this city, thereby disqualifying him to act as City Engineer as
9 to those maps.
B. The City Council of the City of San Jacinto has requested the County
10 of Riverside to permit its Surveyor and.Road Commissioner to act as City Engineer
as to those subdivision maps in this city in which John Brudin is disqualified.
11 The ,County of Riverside has consented to do so on the basis that it collect and
receive the same fee it would charge for similar services in the unincorporated
12 area of said county.
13 NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City, of San
Jacinto, sitting in regular session the'5th day of July 1972, as 'folloas :

1. The acceptance of outside employment by John Brudin for civil
15 engineering services in connection with subdivision •maps and
improvements that call for the approval by the City of San
16 Jacinto is hereby approved and authorized pursuant to Section
1126b of the Government Code.

2. Whenever John Brudin is disqualified to act as City Engineer
18 of this 'city_by reason of a conflict in interest by reason of
his outside employment as a` civil engineer, the Surveyor and
19 Road Comiiissioner, or his successor as the Board of `Supervis-
ors of the County of Riverside shall hereafter appoint, is here-
20 by appointed the Acting City Engineer of the City of San Jacinto,
and he is hereby authorized toreview and approve all Subdivi
21 sion Maps and 'similar subdivision work on such conditionsas he
deems appropriate submitted to him for review by the City Man-
22 ager of the City of San Jacinto.
23 3. The City of San Jacinto hereby agrees to designate the said
_ Surveyor and Road Commissioner as its agent to collect, re
24 ceive and deposit with the appropriate officer of the County
of Riverside his fees and charges for services rendered or
25 requested ,that he would normally charge for similar services
26
in the unincorporated area of the County of Riverside.
27 ADOPTED AND SIGNED this 5th day of July 1972.
