1 i A RESOLUTION RULING ON OBJECTIONS
TO THE PROPOSED REMOVAL OF WEEDS

WHEREAS by Resolution No. 932 , the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
3` did find certain noxious and/or dangerous weeds to be growing in or upon or ad
jacent to the streets , sidewalks and private property in this city and declared
4' the same to be a public nuisance; and
5 WHEREAS by the same resolution the City Council called for a public hearing
r to be held on —April 18, 1972 at the Council Chambers at 201
6 ,East Main Street, San Jacinto, Ca I i torn ia; an

7 WHEREAS notice of said resolution and of said hearing was duly posted in ac-
cordance with Sections 39564 to '39567 , inclusive, of the Government Code, State of
8• California; and
WHEREAS said hearing was continued to May 2 , 1972 by order of he- Co�anci 'an
-9 WHEREAS said hearing was duly held and ..`,,, objections were ma e to he Po-
posed removal of weeds at said hearing; and

WHEREAS the City Council of the City of San Jacinto finds that noxious and/
11 or dangerous weeds are growing in or upon or adjacent to real property described
in Attachment "A" to Resolution No. 9.32 , and they are seasonal and recurrent
12 nuisances except as follows -

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacin
14 to, State of California, in regular session assembled this 2nd day of May
19 72, as follows :

1 . All objections made to the proposed removal of weeds are hereby over-
16 ruled except as follows :
17 2. The Superintendent of Public Works is hereby ordered to cause the aba'
meat and removal of the weeds described on or adjacent to the real property de
18 scribed in Attachment "A" to Resolution No. 932 in accordance with the proceo
ure of Section 39572 et seq. of the Government o and from time-to-time here
19 after as the weeds recur per Section 39562.1 .
20 3. : The Superintendent of Public Works shall keep an account of the cost to
abate the public nuisances herein directed and to submit his itemized written re-
21 port tothis Council as required by law.
22 4. The City Clerk is directed to set a public hearing for hearing the re-
port of the Superintendent of Public Works as herein directed at least three days
23 later than the filingof the report in her office by the Superintendent of Public
Works. The City Clerk shall post a copy of said report at least three days prior
24 to the hearing on the sameon or near the Chamber Door of this City Council to-
gether with a notice of the time and place of the public hearing at which the re-
25 port will be submitted for approval by this Council
26 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of May 19 72 .
