A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACIN-
TO, CALIFORNIA, ORDERING THE CANVASS OF THE GENERAL MUNI-
2 CIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON THE 11TH DAY OF APRIL , 1972 ,
TO BE MADE BY THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO.
4 WHEREAS a regular general municipal election will be held and conducted
5 in the City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, State of California, on Tuesdayl,
6 the lith day of April 1972, as required by law; and
7 WHEREAS the City Council of said City desires the canvass of said elec-
8 tion to be made by the City Clerk of said City;
9 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIP
10 DOES HEREBY RESOLVE , DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
11 Section 1 . That pursuant to Section 22932.5 of the Elections Code of the
12 State of California, the canvass of the regular general municipal election to be
13 held in the City of San Jacinto , County of Riverside, State of California , on
14 Tuesday, the Ilth day of April , 1972 , is hereby ordered to be made by the City
15 Clerk of the City of San Jacinto.
16 Section 2. That the City Clerk of said City shall prior to the 18th day
17 of April , 1972, complete the canvass of the regular general municipal election
18 to be held in said City on the Ilth day of April 1972, and shall certify the
19 results to this said City Council on the 18th day of April , 1972.
20 Section 3. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption)
21 of this resolution; shall enter the same in the book of original Resolutions of
22 said City and shall make a minute of the passage and adoption thereof in the
23
records of the proceedings of the City Council of said City, in the minutes of
2z'_ the meeting at which the same is passed and adopted,
25 Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of April , 1972,
