1 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO FINDING THAT MORE
2 THAN NINETY PERCENT OF THE SELECT STREET
SYSTEMS OF SAID CITY HAS BEEN CONSTRUCTED.

This resolution is adopted with reference to the following facts,:

A. The Council has examined the map of the select system of streets for
5 the City of San Jacinto now adopted and approved.
6 B. The Council has reviewed that map with the personal knowledge of each
Councilman obtained by inspection of the streets located in the select street
7 system or with the facts as provided to the Council by the City Manager of this
city who is also the Director of Public Works. Said facts pertain to the extent
8 of the improvements by construction of said streets .
9 C. The Council desires to use funds apportioned to this city pursuant to
the provisions of Section 2106 of the Streets and Highways Code so that said
10 �1 funds will be counted as having been used for select street systems under the
provisions of Subsection (d) of Section 106.3 of said code.

�1 D. In order to validly use said funds for streets not otherwise included
121 within the select street system it is required that the Council find that more
than ninety per cent of the select street system of this city has been construc-
13 ted , among other alternatives .
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Ja-
cinto sitting in regular adjourned session this 21st day of March 1972 as fol -
15 lows :
16 1 . The Council finds the foregoing facts to be true.

17 2. Pursuant thereto the Council finds that in fact more than ninety per
j cent of the select street system of the City of San Jacinto has been constructed
18 1 to meet the standards satisfactory to this Council , prior to and as of this date.
19 3. The Council instructs the City Manager, also the Director of Public
11 Works to use all or portions of funds apportioned to this city by reason of Sec-
20 tion 2106 of the Streets and Highways Code for the construction of streets not
21 otherwise within the select street system of this city.
4. The City Manager is directed to report to this Council whenever the
22 total mileage of the streets in this city shall have increased by at least ten
per cent of the present mileage so that this Council may reevaluate its find-
23 ings as required by Subsection (d) of said Section 186.3.
