1 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION
2 PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY.
3 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO:
4 1 , That the Council of the City of San •Jacinto, for reasons hereinafter
5 mentioned, proposes to initiate on its own motion, as soon as it can legally do
6 so, proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the territory herein-
7 after described, as uninhabited territory under provisions of the Annexation of
$ Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in-Sections 35300 to 35326, in-
9 clusive, of the Government Code of the State of California.
10 2. That the Council 's reasons for proposing to initiate said annexation
11 proceedings are as follows: The annexation of the hereinafter-described terri-
12 tory will contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide proper control
13 of street layout, drainage, sanitary sewery design and insure proper use of the
14 land in conformity with the overall zoning plan of the City.
15 3. . That the territory which the Council proposes to annex is hereby iden-
16 tified as "Annexation No. 1511 and consists of all that real property described

19 Lot 7 and a portion of Lot 8 of H.T. Hewitt's Subdivision
20 as shown by Map on file in Hook 8 of Maps , Page 386 , Records of
21
San Diego County , California, and a .portion of Seventh' Street and
22 ,
Shaver Street, formerly known as First Street, described as follows

24 Beginning at the Northwest corner of. said Lot 70 said North®
25 west corner being also a point on the center line of said Seventh
26 street,
27 Thence Easterly along the center line of. said Seventh Street,
28ibeing also along the existing boundary of the City of San Jacinto,

a distance of 483.91 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 8®

Thence Southerly ,along the East line of said Lot `8 a distance

4 Thence 'Westerly along the North :line- of said Stam Parcel. a',
5 distance of .85. 00 -feet to the Northwest corner thereof;

Thence Southerly along the West line of said Stam Parcel a

distance of 200 . 00 feet to the Southwest corner thereof., said

g Southwest corner being also a point on the center line of afore-
10 said Shaver Street, formerly known as First Street;
11 Thence Westerly along said center line of Shaver Street a
12 distance of 398.91 feet to an intersection with the Southerly
13
prolongation of the West 'line of. aforesaid Lot 7;
14 Thence Northerly along said prolongation and continuing
15
16 Northerly along said West line of'�Lot. 7 a distance of 930.24 feet
17 to the Point of Beginning.
18 4. That the Planning Director of the City of San Jacinto is hereby di-
1g rected to file with the Boundary Commission of the Local Agency Formation Com-
20 mission of the County of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to
21 initiate proceedings to annex the hereinabove described territory to the City of
22 San Jacinto and to request approval of the Local Agency Formation Commission -as
23 provided for in Section 35002 of the Government Code.
