A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITYOF SAN JACINTO TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION
2 PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO:
4 1 . That the Council of the City of San Jacinto, for reasons. hereinafter
5 mentioned , proposes to initiate on its own motion as soon as it can legally do
6 so, proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the territory herein-
7 after described, as uninhabited territory under provisions of the Annexation of
8 Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to 35326, in-
9 clusive, of the Government Code of the State of California.
10 2. That the Council ' s reasons for proposing to initiate said annexation
11 proceedings are as follows The annexation of the hereinafter described terri--
12 tort' will contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide proper control

13 of street layout, drainage, sanitary sewer,,design and insure proper use of the
14 land in conformity with the overall zoning plan of the City.
15 3. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex is hereby iden-
16 tified as "Annexation No. 14" and consists of all that real property described
17 as follows

is ' Beginning at the Southeast corner of Farm Lot 59 of the,San Jacinto
Land Association, recorded M/B 8/.358, San Diego County, thence North
19 1320 feet to the center of East Main Street, the Northeast corner of
Farm Lot 59; thence West 660 feet to the center line of Camino Los
20 Banos; thence South 304.03 feet; thence East 398.$5.feet; thence South
985.97 feet; thence East 231 .15 feet to the point of beginning. Also
21 the Westerly 30 feet of Camino Los Banos , Southerly of the center line
of East Main Street, to the Northwesterly corner of Logan Barnes Sub-
22 division, M/B39/94, Riverside County.

24 4, That' the Planning Director of the City of San Jacinto is hereby
25 directed to file with the Boundary Commission of the Local Agency Formation
26 Commission of the County of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to
27 iinjtiate proceedings to annex the hereinabove described territory to the City
28 of San Jacinto and to request approval of the Local Agency Formation Commission
29 as provided for in Section 35002 of the Government, Code.
