2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
3 LUBRICANTS FROM THE COUNTY OF RIVERSIDE
4 BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Jacinto requests participation in
5 Award 71/2221 to the Union Oil Company by the Riverside County Board of Super-
6 visors for the purchase of lubricating oils and greases from July 1 , 1971
7 through June 30, 1972.
8 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Jacinto
9 approves the following terms and conditions relating to participation in the
10 County contract for lubricating oils and greases :
11 1 . Will make all purchases in its own name for public use only;
12 2, Will be responsible for payment directly to the vendor and for
13 tax liability and will hold the County harmless therefrom;
3, Has not and will not have in force any other contract for like
14 purchases . ;
151 4. Has not obtained and does not have under consideration written
16 bids or quotations from other vendors for like purchases.
17 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED by the unanimous vote of the City Council of
i 18 1 the City of San Jacinto this 6th day of July 1971 .
