1 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING PARALLEL PARKING ON MAIN
STREET BET4,lEEN SAN JACINTO AVENUE AND PICO STREET

This resolution is adopted with reference to the following facts :

A. Heretofore parking in the herein below described streets has been

5angle parking . Said parking tends to interfere with vehicular traffic due to
6 parked cars backing out into traffic.
7 B . Parallel parking would permit traffic to flow easier and faster.
8 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
9 Jacinto as follows :
10 � 1 . The foregoing facts are found to be correct.

2. Parallel parking is hereby established on both sides of Main Street
12 bounded by Pico Avenue on the west and San Jacinto Avenue on the east.!
13 3. The Police Chief with the assistance of the Department of Public
14 Works shall install appropriate markings and/or signs to carry out
15 the purposes of this resolution .
1611 4. This resolution shall become effective upon installation of the
17 markings.

18 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22 day of June 1071 by the following vote: j

19 Ayes : Councilmen Saben , Stevens , Young and Brooks.
20 Noes : None
21 Absent: Councilman Cutting.
