i A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, PERTAINING TO PROGRAMS FOR THE
2 ANNUAL MEETINGS OF THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES
3 �1 WHEREAS more than one-half the cities in California are under 20,000 popu-
4 lation; and
5 ; WHEREAS the problems of small cities are not necessarily the same as those
I, of large cities ; and

7 1 WHEREAS the programs and discussions in the recent annual meetings of the
8 iLeague of California Cities have been dominated by the problems of large cities;
9 NOW'
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacin-
10 to the League of California Cities develop dual programs and discussion groups in
111la1 future annual i-neetings , one group for the large cities and one croup for the '
12 smallf cities , thereby enabling the representatives of the smaller cities oppor-
13 tunitlas to gain greater benefits from the League 's annual meetings .
14 MOVED. PASSED AND ADOPTED at -a regular meeting of the City Council of the
15 City of San Jacinto , California , held on the 8th day of December 1970 by the
16 following vote:
17 AYES: Councilmen Saben , Stevens , Young , Cutting and Brooks,
18 NOES: None
19 ABSENT! None
