2 RESOLUTION ORDERING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC i
WORDS TO PREPARE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, ESTI
3, MATE AND REPORT PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS
OF DIVISION 14, PART 1, STREETS AND 'HIGHWAYS
4 CODE, STREET LIGHTING ACT OF 1919, AS AMENDED,
FOR THE FURNISHING OF ELECTRIC CURRENT, AND
5 FOR. THE MAINTENANCE OF STREET LIGHTING OR
STREET LIGHTING SYSTEMS OWNED BY A PUBLIC
6 UTILITY IN THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA.

8 , WHEREAS, the public convenience and necessity require, and it

9 is the intention of the City Council of the City of San Jacinto, to
101! order the furnishing of electric current and the maintenance of
i
11 � street lighting in a system owned by a public utility subject to
12 the jurisdiction of the Public Utilities Commission of the State of
1311 California, in the City of San Jacinto for a ' period of months be
14 ginning July 1, 1971, and ending June 30, 1976 ; and
15i WHEREAS, proceedings for such proposed improvement will be
16I taken pursuant to the provisions of Division 14, Part 1, of the
17 Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, being the
18i ",Street Lighting Act of 1919 ; , as amended ; and
19i WHEREAS, the "alternative procedure for levying and collecting
20r the ad valorem tax is most suitable for this city and
21 � WHEREAS, the provisions of said Division 14, Part 1, require
22I a written report concerning such proposed improvement;
23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by th€
24 City Council of the Cite of San Jacinto, as follows :
25I SECTION 1. That the City Director of Public Works be and he
