OF SAN JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, RECITING THE FACT
3 ! OF A SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN AN INHABITED
TERRITORY CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF SAN JAC-
4 � INTO ON THE 13TH DAY OF JANUARY, 1970, DECLAR-
ING THE RESULT THEREOF AND SUCH OTHER MATTERS
AS ARE PROVIDED BY LAW RELATING TO ANNEXATION
NO. 11.
WHEREAS, a special election was held and conducted in an
`;, inhabited territory contiguous to the City of San Jacinto, County

of Riverside, State of California, on Tuesday , the 13th day of
81ianuary, 1970, pertaining to the annexation of territory known as
! "Annexation No. 11" ; and
WHEREAS, notice of said election was duly and regularly
10 Igiven in time, form and manner as provided by law; that voting
; precincts were properly established ; that the election was proper-

llly conducted by absent voter ballot and that in all respects said
;election was hold and conducted and the votes cast thereat, re-
121ceived and canvassed and the returns made and declared in time,
form and manner as required by the provisions of the Government
Code and Elections Code of the State of California for the holding
, of special election to consider annexation of inhabited territory
14 icities ; and
15 : WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution Nos - 815 and 846 adopted the
12L-h and 18th days of November, 1969, the City clerk of the City of
161 San Jacinto canvassed the returns of said election and has certified
1 the results to this City council, said results are received, attach-

! ed and made a part hereof as
184 NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO,
1 DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION 1 . That there was one voting precinct established
20 11 f or the purpose of holding said election consisting of the entire
Hterritory described as Annexation No. 11 in Resolution No. 846 in
211ithe County of Riverside as established for the holding of the specie.

SECTION 2 . That said special election was held for the
23 purpose of submitting to the electors of said territory the follow-
ing measure, to-wit :

26 I! SECTION 3 . That the whole number of votes cast in said
lelection (except absent voter ballots) was 0

That the whole number of absent voter ballots cast in said
28 election was 27 , making a total of 27 votes cast in said election.
29 SECTION 4. That the number of votes given at each precinct
and the number of votes given in the territory known as "Annexation
301 No. 11 " (for and against the measure) were as listed in Exhibit
"A" attached .

1 SECTION 5 . That as a result of said election, a majority

not vote in favor thereof, and that said proposition was not car-
2C rased and shall not be deemed adopted and ratified,

3 SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall enter on the records of
I the City council of said city, a statement of the result of said
4�� election, showing:
51 (1) Thw whole number of votes cast in the territory;
(2) The measures voted upon;
7:1 (3) The number of votes given at each precinct for and
against each measure;
(4) The number of votes given in the city for and against
each measure®
10 SECTION 7 . That the City Clerk shall certify to the pass-
age and adoption of this resolution; shall enter the same in the
13. book of original Resolutions of said City; and shall make a min-ate
of the passage and adoption thereof in the records of the proceed-
12 ings of the City council of said city, in the minutes of the
meeting at which the same is passed and adopted.
