2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT
3 OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF`SAN JACINTO
4 WHEREAS:
5 A. The Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto duly held a public
hearing on December 11 , 1973 after notice was published and mailed as required
6 by law, and was continued to 'January 151974` to consider the proposed amendment
to the land use element of the General Plan herein acted upon and by its Resolu-
7 tion No.' 74'-1 recommended to the City Council that the amendment be adopted.
8 g. A public hearing Jwas duly held April 16, 1974 by the-City Council.,after-
notice was duly published The following written or oral communications were
9 received from members of the public:
10 Those in favor: Ray Bissell 23650 State-Street, .San Jacinto:
Those against: Myrl Tibbetts, 601 `,;E. Florida Avenue, Hemet
11 (both oral and written objections. )

14 NOW, ,THEREFORE,_ BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
Jacinto as follows:

1 . The Council finds the foregoing facts to be true.

2. The Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of San
17 Jacinto (Case A-73-3) be changed 'from `medium density resi-
dential to industrial in the area between Grand Avenue and
18 Cottonwood Avenue a short distance west of State Street
(approximately 9 acres) .

MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 16th day of April 1974.
