1 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION
2 PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY.
3 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO:'
4 Section 1 . That the Council of the City of San Jacinto, for reasons here-
5 inafter mentioned , proposes to initiate on its own motion, as soon as it can le-
6 gally do so, proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the territory
7 hereinafter described , as uninhabited territory under provisions of the Annexa-
8 tion of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to
9 35326, inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California.
_10 Section 2. That the Council 's reasons for proposing to initiate said an-
11 nexation proceedings are as follows; The annexation of the hereinafter-describ-
12 ed territory will contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide proper
13 control of street layout, drainage, sanitary sewer design and insure proper use
14 i of the land in conformity with the overall zoning plan of the City.
15 i Section 3. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex is here
16 by identified as "Annexation No. 28" and consists of all that real property de-
17 scribed on "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
18 Section 4. That the Planning Director of the City of San Jacinto is here-
19 by directed to file with the Boundary Commission of the Local Agency Formation
2 0 I Commission of the County of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to
21 initiate proceedings to annex the territory described in "Exhibit A" attached
22 hereto, to the City of San Jacinto and to request approval of the Local Agency
23 Formation Commission as provided for in Section 35002 of the Government Code.
24 ADOPTED this 20th day of September 1977.
AYES: Councilwoman Hazeltine, Councilmen Stevens , Brooks and Wilson.

ANNEXATION NO. - 28
TO THE
CITY OF SAN JACINTO
That portion of Farm Lot 102 of the lands of the San
'Jacinto Land Association as shown by Map on file in Book 8
of Maps , Page 357 , Records of San Diego County, California,
being more particularly described as follows :
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Farm Lot 102,
said Northwest corner being also a point on the Easterly line
of Annexation No. 18 to the City of San Jacinto;
Thence Easterly along the North line of said Farm Lot 102
a distance of 1320 feet, more or less , to the Northeast corner
of said Farm Lot 102 , said Northeast corner being also a point
on the center line of San Jacinto Street;
Thence Southerly along said center line of San Jacinto
Street a distance of 1164 feet;
Thence Westerly, parallel with the North line of said
Farm Lot 102, a distance of 821 feet, more or less , to a point,
said point being Easterly a distance of 70 . 52 feet, as measured
along said parallel line, from the No right-of-way
line of Idyllwild Drive (60 feet wide) ;
Thence Southwesterly, at right angles to said Northeast-
erly right-of-way line of Idyllwild Drive , a distance of 109 . 87
feet to an intersection with the Southwesterly right-of-way line
of said Idyllwild Drive, said intersection being also a point on
the existing boundary line of the City of San Jacinto;
Thence Northwesterly along said Southwesterly right-of-way
line of Idyllwild Drive, being also along said existing boundary
line of the City of San Jacinto, a distance of 650 feet, more or
less, to the most Southerly corner of Annexation No. 18 to the
City of San Jacinto;
Thence Northeasterly , at right angles to said Southwest-
erly right-of-way line of Idyllwild Drive, being also along
the Easterly boundary line of said Annexation No. 18 to the
City of San Jacinto, a distance of 30 feet to the most Souther-
ly corner of. Farm Lot 103 of said San Jacinto Land Association,
said corner being also an angle point in the Easterly boundary
line of said Annexation No. 18 to the City of San Jacinto;
Thence Northerly along the East line of said Farm Lot 103,
being also along the Easterly boundary line of said Annexation
No. 18 to the City of San Jacinto, a distance of 774 feet,
more or less , to the point of beinning.
