RESOLUTION NO. 1156
1 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THECOUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION
2 PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN 'UNINHABITED'TERRITORY.
3 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO:
4 Section 1 . That the Council of the City of San Jacinto, for reasons here-
5 inafter mentioned, proposes to initiate on its own motion, as soon as it can le-
6 gally do-so, ,proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the territory
7 hereinafter described , as uninhabited territory under provisions of the Annexa
8 tion of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to
9 35326, inclusive„ of the Government Code of the State of California.
10 Section 2. That the Council 's reasons for proposing to initiate said an
11 nexation proceedings are as follows; The annexation of the hereinafter-describ-
12 ed territory will contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide proper

13 control of street layout, drainage, sanitary sewer design and insure proper use
14 of the land ,in conformity with the overall zoninq plan of the City.
15 ( Section 3. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex is here
16 by identified as "Annexation No. 22 and consists of all that real property de-
17 scribed on "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
18 Section 4. That the Planning Director of the City of San Jacinto is here-
19 by directed to file with the Boundary Commission of the Local Agency Formation
20 Commission of the County of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to
21 initiate proceedings to annex the territory described in "Exhibit A' attached
22 hereto, to the City of San Jacinto and to request approval of the Local Agency
23 Formation Commission as provided for in Section 35002 of the Government Code.
- 24 ADOPTED this 17th day of May 1977.

to the City of San Jacinto
Description
Portions of Farm Lots 103 and 105 of the lands of the San Jacinto Land As-
sociation, as shown by map on file in Book 8, Page 357 of Maps, San Diego County
Records, plus a portion of State Street, 99 feet wide, and a portion of Idyllwild
Drive, 60 feet wide, also being in the Northeast (quarter of Section 27, Township
4 South, Range 1 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Section 27, Township 4 South, Range I
West;
Thence. West along the north line of Farm Lot 105 to a point 1 ,350 feet, more
or less , east of the northwest corner of said Farm Lot 105;
Thence south a distance of 650 feet, more or less ;
Thence West to a point on the west line of said Farm Lot 105, said point
also being on the centerline of State Street, 99 feet wide, a distance of 1 ,350
feet, more or less;
Thence South along said centerline to the intersection of the centerline of
Idyllwild Drive, 60 feet wide, as shown on Map No. 782-B, Records of the County
Surveyor, County of Riverside, California, said intersection also being the most
northerly point on the, present boundary of the City of San Jacinto;
The next two courses and distances are on the present •boundary in the
City of San Jacinto;
Thence South 450 00' 00" East along said centerline of Idyllwild Drive, 60
feet wide, to an angle point in the San Jacinto City Boundary, a distance of
2,784.19 feet; more or less ;
Thence North 450 00'00" East to a point on the east line of said Section 27,
a distance of 933.37 feet, more or less;
Thence North along the east line of said Section 27 to the northeast corner
thereof, the true point of beginning.
Containing 95 acres, more or less.
