2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, 'A CALIFORNIA MUPIICIPALITY,..ADDING
3 A PUBLIC SAFETY ELEMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN
4 WHEREAS, Section 65302, Article 5, Chapter 3 of Title 7 of the State Plan-
ning and Zoning Law requires addition of the Public Safety Element to the City's
5 General Plan; and
6 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto duly held a
public hearing on February 15, 1977 to consider the proposed addition of a Public .
7 Safety Element to. the General Plan herein acted upon', and by its Res olut ion, No.
77-7. recommended' to the City Council that the Public Safety Element be adapted;
8 and
9 WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on May 3, 1977 by the City Council
after notice was duly published; and
10 Resolu-
WHEREAS, the Council has adopted the Emergency Operations Plan, by
1 1 tion No. 1062, which Plan is incorporated in the Public Safety Element by
reference; and

WHEREAS, no written objections were received, and no oral objections were
13 made;
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
Jacinto as follows:

1 . The Council finds the foregoing facts to be true.

2. A Public Safety Element is adopted and, incorporated
17 by reference in the General Plan.
18 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 3rd day of May 1977.
