2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, AMENDING
3 THE SEISMIC SAFETY ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
4 WHEREAS, Section 65302, Article 5 , Chapter 3 of Title 7 of the State Plan-
ning and Zoning Law requires revision or adoption of the Seismic Safety Element
5 updating and increasing stress measures for earthquake resistance in buildings
to be used for assembly and other public uses ; and
6 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Jacinto duly held a
7 public hearing on February 15, 1977 to consider the proposed amendment to the
Seismic Safety Element of the City's General Plan herein acted upon and by its
8 Resolution No. 77-6 recommended to the City Council that the amendment be adop-
ted; and
9 WHEREAS, a public hearing was duly held on' May 3, 1977 by the City Council
10 after notice was duly published. No written objections were received. No oral
objections were made.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
12 Jacinto as follows :
13 1 . The Council finds the foregoing facts to be true.
14 2. The Seismic Safety Element, as amended, is on file in
the office of the City Clerk and is incorporated herein
15 by reference.
16 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED the 3rd day of May 1977.
