2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO , A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY , DE-
3 CLARING CERTAIN STREETS , SIDEWALKS AND PARCELS
OF PRIVATE PROPERTY AS PUBLIC NUISANCES, AND TO
4 ' BE SEASONAL AND RECURRENT NUISANCES DUE TO WEEDS.
51 WHEREAS the Superintendent of Public Works , having heretofore been designates
I', by the body, to perform the duties imposed by Article 2 of Division 3 of Title 4
C' , of the Government Code, has submitted to this body evidence that noxious and
�Idangerous weeds are growing upon or adjacent to streets on land located in the
7 k[ City of San Jacinto, and that said weeds grow seasonally and recur from time-to
g 11time; and

WHEREAS the City Council elects to cause the abatement of said weeds under
9 ;Ithe authority of Article 2 hereinabove cited;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San Jacin-
to, State of California , in regular session assembled this 22nd day of .March

�1977 as follows :
12 1 1 . That the City Council of said city finds that certain noxious and/or
''dangerous weeds are growing upon or in front of land near streets , as hereinafter

!described, that said noxious and/or dangerous weeds are a public nuisance and that
14 the same are recurrent from time-to-time as a seasonal occurrence.
2. The City Council therefore declares toese weeds to be a public nuisance
1 5 �by authority granted to it by Section 39561 of the Government Code at the locations
16 within the City of San Jacinto , County of Riverside , State of California , as de
(scribed in Exhibit "A" affixed to this resolution which is incorporated -herein by
1,7 reference as fully and completely as if it were set forth at length herein.

18 3. The City Clerk shall cause notice of this resolution together with
notice of the time for hearing of objections to the findings herein to be mailed
19 as required by the provisions of Section 39567 .1 of the Government Code.
4. On Tuesday, April 19 1977 at the hour of 7:30 p.m. , or as soon
?0 thereafter as the Council may conveniently hear it, at the Council Chambers at
21 11201 East Main Street, San Jacinto , California , a public hearing shall be held in
laccordance with the provisions of Article 2 , Division 3 of Title 4 of the Govern- ,
22 ment Code, and the property owners may then and there make their objections to
the proposed removal of weeds now and from time-to-time hereafter.
