3 EVIDENCE OF VALUATION FOR BUILDI14G OFFICIALS
DETERB4INATION FOR FEES FOR BUILDING PERMITS
4 ISSUED" PERSUANT TO TIIE -PROVISIONS OF THE UNIFORM
BUILDING CODE.

This resolution is adopted with reference to the following
6 facts :
7 A. The Building Official of this city is authorized by ,the
provisions of the Uniform Building Code adopted by this city to
8 determine the valuation of the proposed construction for collecting
the fees therein prescribed for the issuance of the permit.

B. The cost of construction have risen substantially :i_n the rece t
10 past and data has been recently published by a recogn-zed authority
for the cost of construction of various types of construction and
11 occupancy.
12 NOW TIEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of San Jacinto, sitting in regular session the 5th day of
13 October, 1976 as follows
14 ' le The Building Valuation Data published in the July-August
1976 issue of Building and Standards , is hereby accepted and adopted
151 by the City of an Jacinto as the basis for determination of
values for issuance of fee permits for building construction in
161 this city effective November 1 , 1976 .

17 , 2 . Such data shall be -presumed prima Facie as being applica
ble , unless the applicant or the Building Official attempting to
18 apply a different standard can establish with clear and convincing
evidence a factual basis for a different manner of valuation„
