2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO, A CALI-
FORNIA MUNICIPALITY, FIXING THE TAX RATE OF SAID
3 CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1977.
4 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DOES HEREBY RESOLVE .AS FOLLOWS: "
5 Section 1 . That the tax rate to raise the necessary amount of revenue for
said city for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1977 be and the same is hereby
6 fixed as follows:
7 (a) That the rate of tax levy upon assessable property within the limits
of said city is hereby fixed as follows :

(1 ) For the Museum Fund seven (7) cents on each $100 of assessed
9 valuation.
10 (2) For the cost of Civil Defense and for Disaster Preparedness
one (1 ) cent on each $100 of assessed valuation.
11 (3) For maintenance of Parks and Recreation thirty-three (33)
cents for each $100 assessed valuation .

(4) For expenses of the Planning Department fifteen (15) cents
13 for each S100 assessed valuation .
(5) For all other purposes one hundred (100) cents on each $100
14 assessed valuation.
15 making a total tax rate upon assessable property within said city, for
all purposes, $1 .56 per $100 assessed valuation.
16 (b) That the rate of special tax levy upon assessable property within the
electric street lighting district of the City of San Jacinto estab-
17 lished by Resolution No. 888, adopted December 15, 1970, as annexed
by Resolution No. 1047, adopted December 23, 1974, is fixed as fol - j
18 lows: thirty-three (33) cents on each $100 assessed valuation on
both land and improvements .

Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolu-
20 tion and cause the same to be published in the Valley Register, a newspaper of
aeneral circulation printed and published in the County of Riverside, State of
21 California .
22 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular adjourned meeting of said City Coun-
cil duly held on the 17th day of August 1976.
