RESOLUTION NO. 1113
1 A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO TO INITIATE ON ITS OWN MOTION
2 PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY.

1 . That the Council of the City of San Jacinto, for the reasons herein-
4
after mentioned, proposes to initiate on its own motion, as soon as it can legal-
5 ly do so, proceedings to annex to the City of San Jacinto all the territory here-
6
inafter described as uninhabited territory under provisions of the Annexation of
7 '
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 as set forth in Sections 35300 to 35325, in-
8
elusive, of the Government Code of the State of California.

2. That the Council 's reasons for proposing to initiate said annexation

proceedings are as follows : The annexation of the hereinafter described terri-
11
tory will contribute to the orderly growth of the City, provide proper control
12
of street arrangements for efficient traffic movements , drainage, sanitary sewer
13
design and also to insure proper use of the land in conformity with the Compre-
14
hensive General Plan of the City.
3. That the territory which the Council proposes to annex is hereby
16
identified as "Annexation No. 19" and consists of that real property described
17
on "Exhibit A" attached hereto and made a part hereof.

4. That the Planning Director of the City of San Jacinto is hereby
19
directed to file with the Boundary Commission of the Local Agency Formation Com-
20
mission of the County of Riverside, State of California, this proposal to initi-
21 ate proceedings to annex the territory described in "Exhibit A" , attached here-
22
to, to the City of San Jacinto and to request approval of the Local Agency For-
23
oration Commission as provided for in Section 35002 of the Government Code.

ADOPTED this 17th day of August 1976 by the following vote:
25 I AYES: Councilwoman Hazeltine, Councilmen Stevens, Brooks, Ver Plank and
Wilson .

All of Farm`Lot 72 and a portion of Farm Lots 70 and 74 of the San Jacinto
Land Association as shown on map on file in Book 8, Page 357 of Maps; all maps ,
Records of San Diego County, State of California, being in Section 35,:Township
4 South ,_Range"1 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in Riverside County,
State of California , and more particularly described as follows :
BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the center line of San Jacinto
Avenue with the westerly prolongation of the north line of Shaver Street, said
point of intersection also being a point on the present boundary line of the
City of San Jacinto;
Thence Easterlyalong the said prolongation of the Northerly line of Shaver
Street,_ and the Northerly line of Shaver Street also being the present boundary
line of the City of San Jacinto, to a point of intersection with the Easterly
line of Farm Lot 70;
Thence Southerly along the east line of said Farm Lots 70 and 72, and along
the southerly projection of the east line of_Farm Lot 72, to a point 330 feet ;+
southerly of the southeast corner of Farm Lot 72;
Thence westerly along a line parallel to and about 330 feet southerly of
the south line of Farm Lot 72 and its westerly projection, across the northerly
portion; of Farm Lot 74 to a point in the centerline of San Jacinto Avenue, said
centerline also being the present boundary line of the City of 'San Jacinto;
Thence northerly along said centerline of San Jacinto Avenue to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
