2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY ,
3 ESTABLISHING RATES FOR THE COLLECTION OF GAR-
BAGE AND RUBBISH COLLECTED- WITHIN OR BY THE
4 SAID CITY OP' SAN JACINTO AND ESTABLISHING A
MEANS OF BILLING FOR CHARGES MADE THEREFORE
5 P24D TO SECURE PAYMENTS BY DEPOSITS .
6 The City Council of the City of San Jacinto,_ a California
,municipality,,municipality, does hereby resolve as follows-

1. This resolution supersedes Resolution No 868 , adopted
8 June 2 ,`' 1970 , and all other prior resolutions consistent herewith.<
9 2 For the privilege of having garbage and rubbish collected
as provided in Article 11 of the Code of the City of San Jacinto
10 there shall be assessed and charged:
11 (a) For the owner or occupant of residences : $2 . 20 per
month;

(b) For the owner or operator of multiple unit dwellings
13 each having kitchen facilities : $2 . 20 per month for each of the
first two units acid $1. 70 per month for each additional unit regard
14 less whether occupied or not;
(c) For the owner or operator of any commercial establis a
15 ment except as set forth in subparagraph (d) below: The rate of '
$0,. 84 per cubic ;lard of volume of the rubbish and trash' containers
16 maintained at each establishment; provided, however , that in no
event shall the fee be less than $3. 40 per month.
17 (d) Mobilehoi7?e parrs having refuse picked up; at each
space but the fees are billed to and paid by the operation shall be
18 charged; on the same basis as apartment houses, subparagraph (b)
above. Ail spaces shall be charged whether occupied or not, Other
191 mobilehome parks shall be charged the commercial rate if refuse is
collected at central locations or the residential rates of indivi-
201 dual collections and individual billing and payment.
(e) The City Council may provide that rubbish not includ-�
21 i ed within the definition of either "garbage" or "waste, " as provide
in Section 11�-1 of the City Code , be collected by the City for such
221 charge the City,Manager or other officer of Contracting Party so
authorized by the City Council may determine to be fair and proper
23 in each individual case
24 3. This resolution shall become effective for the trash and
refuse billing period first commencing after June 15 , 1976.

4 . ` The City Council does so resolve pursuant to the authority
26 vested in it by the provisions of Section 11-18 of the City Code

27 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED at an adjourned regular meeting,
28 of the City Council duly held on the 20th 'day of July, 1976 .
