2 A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
JACINTO CALLING A PUBLIC HEF;RING TO DETERMINE
3 WHETHER PUBLIC NECESSI`I'Y`r HEALTH, SAFETY OR WELFARE,
REQUIRES THE REFORMATION OF THE AREA OF 'UNDERGROUND
4 UTILITY DISTRICT ON SAN JACINTO AVENUE BETCIEEN THE
INTERSECTION OF STD%EPITH STREET AND A POINT NORTH OF
5 SIB= STREET
6 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 458 establishes a procedure for the
creation of underground utility districts and requires as the initi 1
7 step in such procedure the holding of a public hearing to ascertain
whether" public necessity, health, safety or welfare requires the
8 removal of poles , overhead wires and associated overhead structures
and the underground installation of wires and facilities for` supply-
ing electric, communication or similar or associated service in
any such district, and.
10 WHEREAS , the boundaries of Underground Project No. 1 were
prescribed by Resolution No. 970 to define an area including, many
11 parcels located adjacent to the areas within the public right of
way; and
12 WHEREAS it is the council ' s sintention to revise the bo tndarie
of Underground Utility District No. 1 to delete all parcels not
13 included within the public right of way; from that district , as set
forth in May , 'Marked Exhibit A dated dune 22°, 1976, attached hereto
14 rIOWO THEP.EFORE r BE IT RESOLVED as follows :
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GI�,TN that a public hearing will be held
15 by the 'Council of the City of van Jacinto on July 20 , 1976 at the
hour of 7 .30 a.m. in the Council Chambers , 201 E. Main Street , San
16 Jacinto, California, to ascertain whether the public necessity ,
health , safety or welfare structures and the underground istallatio
17 of wires and facilities for supplying electric, communication or
similar associated service in the District hereinabove 'described, <
18 and that the boundaries of Underground Utility District No. 1 shout
be reduce to those set forth in Exhibit A.
19 2 . At such hearing all persons interested shall be given an
opportunity to be heard. Said. hearing may be continued from time
20i as rlay be determined by the City Council
3. The City 'Clerk shall notify all affected property owners
21 as shown on the last equalized assessment roll and utilities concerted
of the time and place of such hearing by mailing a copy of this
221 resolution to such property owners and 'utilities concerned at least ,
ten (10) days prior to the date hereof.

4. ' The area proposed to be included in the District is shown
upon that certain map, Exhibit A which in on file in the office of
24 the City Clerk of the City of San Jacinto.
