CERTAIN RATES ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 796.

1976 as follows :

1. This resolution supersedes and repeals Resolution No. 796

adopted November 5 , 1968 and all other previous resolutions on this
subject, by changing the charges for water. The rates for water

sold to regular metered service in the City of San Jacinto shall be
as follows for a two-month period:

For the 'first 2 ,500 cubic feet or less $ 8. 15
10 For water consumed in excess of 2 ,500 cubic feet,
the charge per 100' cubic feet or fraction
thereof- shall be $ . 23

12 � 2 . This resolution also supersedes the immediately above
, described resolutions by changing the rates for regular metered
' 13 l service for crater sold outside the CitgT of San Jacinto by the City
of San Jacinto. The rates for water ccrsumer at regular metered
14 � service sold outside the City of San Jacinto shall be as follows :
15 For the first 2 ,500 cubic feet or less $ 13. 15
16 � For water consumed in excess of 2 ,500 cubic feet,
the charge per 100 cubic feet or fraction

3. Pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 21-25 the following

24 4. Pursuant to the provisions of Sec. 21-26 the following
schedule of charges for metered water service outside the City in
25 -addition to the minirlurn charges as set forth in paragraph 3 above
26 there hereby establish as additional surcharge for the following
size metered service outside the City for a. two-month period as

I Council hereby reestablishes the minimum charge for temporary meter-
ed service for construction and flooding purposes established by
2 Resolution No. 724. The minimum charge for any rental ;period of
less than thirty days shall be $625 , payable in advance, for the

first two days or',less , and. a charge of $1.2`5 per day for each day*
following the first two days of use . For temporary metered service

hired for a minimum period of thirty days or more , a minimum charge
5 of $18a75 shall be paid in advance for the first thirty days; and
fifty cents a day will be charged for each day thereafter. In
6 addition to the minimum charges of this paragraph;, the user shall
pay .the rates for quantities of water prescribed in paragraphs 1
7 and 2 hereinabove without regard to minimum rate. For purposes
of this paragraph, the per day charge shall be charged upon a five
8 day week. All of the foregoing rates shall apply when :the user
agrees to return the water meter to the city in as good condition
9 as it was loaned to him, ordinary wear and tear excepted. In the
event the user_ refuses to agree to be the absolute insurer of the
10 water meter, ordinary wear_ and tear. excepted, the foregoing minimum
rates shall be doubled.
11 6 . Pursuant to 21-28 : (b) and as previously established by
Resolution No. 724 , a $1.25 service charge for each water tank

filled, together withthe regular volume rates , shall apply for
13 ea.ch tank of water filled.
7 The provisions of this resolution shall become effective
14 upon the first two-month billing period commencing after July 1 ,
