1 RESOLUTION NO. 1093
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, DECLARING
3 ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON STREET EASE-
MENT IN THIRD STREET BETWEEN THE INTERSECTION OF
4 RAMONA BOULEVARD AND SAN JACINTO AVENUE
5 WHEREAS, it is desirable and appropriate that certain street located as
6 TM rd Street between the intersections of Ramona Boulevard and San Jacinto
7 Avenue in the City of San Jacinto, County of Riverside, State of California,
8 be vacated and abandoned for the reason that said street is unnecessary for i
9 present prospective public use, for road purposes.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of San
11 Jacinto sitting in regular adjourned session on the 20th day of April , 1976 as
12 follows:
13 1 . That it hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon only the

14 rights-of-way and easements for public use for road purposes only on Third
1.5 Street, between the intersections of Ramona Boulevard and San Jacinto Avenue,
16 i but reserving easements for public utilities now existing in place including
17 sewer, water, gas, electricity, telephone and cable television.

18 2. That the City Council of the City of San Jacinto hereby determines
19 that public convenience and necessity require the abandonment of said public
20 right of way.
211 3. 7:30 p.m. on the 18th day of May, 1976 at the Council Chambers,
22 209 East Main Street, San Jacinto, California is hereby set as the time and
23 place for the public hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to the
24 � proposed vacation and abandonment.
25 4. The map, marked Exhibit A, dated April 20, 1976 , and upon which the
26 real property subject to the easements proposed to be vacated has been design-
27 ated by diagonal hatched lines on said map, on file in the office of the City
28 Clerk, may be reviewed for the particulars of the proposed vacation and aban-
29 donment.
30 5. The City Clerk is instructed to certify to the adoption of this
31 resolution and to cause the same to be published one time in the Valley Register,
32 a newspaper printed and published in the County of Riverside, not less than

1 fifteen days prior to the hearing fixed herein.
2 6. The Superintendent of Public Works is directed to cause notice of

3 this intended vacation and abandonment to be posted conspicuously along said
4 portion of said easement not less than in three places and not less than three
5 hundred feet apart at least 15 days prior to the date of the hearing fixed
6 herein.
7 7. The City Council of the City of San Jacinto declares that by the
8 adoption of this resolution its intention to proceed pursuant to the provisions
9 of Street Abandonment Act of 1941 commencing at Section 8300 of the Streets and
10 Highways Code.
11 8. The said City Council hereby finds and determines that no street
12 element of the general plan adopted by this City requires or refers to the
13 public right-of-way proposed to be vacated and abandoned herein and that the

14 Planning Commission of this city has reported the same finding to the City
15 ' Counci 1 .
16 Adopted and signed this 20th day of April , 1976.
