2 ( A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO, A CALIFORNIA MUNICIPALITY, CALLING
3 FOR A CONTRACT WITH THE CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL
FOR ABANDONED VEHICLE ABATEMENT PARTICIPATION.

WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Sections 9250.7 and 22710 provide for
5
an Abandoned Vehicle Trust Fund and a method of disbursement of funds to local
6
agencies that participate in the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program; and
7
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto, California has adopted an Ordinance in
8
accordance with the California Vehicle Code providing for the Abatement of
9
Abandoned Vehicles; and
10
WHEREAS, the City of San Jacinto; California desires to participate in
11
the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program and share in the monies in said Aban-
12
i doned Vehicle Trust Fund,

I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of San Jacinto participate I
14
in the Abandoned Vehicle Abatement Program durinq fiscal year 1975-76.

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Clifford E. Wallace, Mayor of the City
16
of San Jacinto, is hereby authorized to execute the contract with the Depart
17 �
ment of the California Highway Patrol for participation in said Abandoned
18
Vehicle Program.

On motion of Councilwoman Hazeltine, seconded by Councilman Stevens ,_
20
the foregoing order is adopted this 3rd day of June 1975 by the following voter
21
