FROM MITE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT BY AGREEMMN'I
5 DATED DECEMBER 17 , 1974 .
6 RECITALS :

A. The Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 provides
81 that basic grant funds may be used for essential community development
and housing assistance activities .

B. The County of Riverside and the City: of San Jacinto desire
,
10 to qualify said county as an "Urban County , " for purposes of that Act
for the purposes of obtaining and administering any funds for the
11 mutual benefit of said. county and city.
12 C. A cooperative agreement ha:s been presented to this city for
approval and execution to accomplish said purposes .
13 NO-jr THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City ;Council, of the City
14 of San 'Jacinto sittincT in regular' adjourned session the 23rd' day of
December 1974 as follows : I

1. The fora and terms of the Cooperative Agreement dated Decemlei
16 17 , 1974 between the County of Riverside and.' the 'City of San Jacinto
are hereby approved, and the Mayor of this city, or in his absence,
17 the Mayor Pro. Temnoyeq is authorized to execute the agreement in
behalf of this city.

2. The clerl: is directed to attest to the adoption of this
19 resolution anc? to include a certified copy hereof to the Board of>
Supervisors of the County of Riverside.

3. The City ?Vlanager is authorized to represent this City
21 in cooperation with the County of Riverside and other cities`
participating in the Cooperative Agreement.
