RESOLUTION NO. 1047
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF SAN JACINTO REVISING RATES FOR 'TAXI SERVICE
WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO.
4 Ordinance No. 348 having been revised by Ordinance No. 537 to
5 provide for establishment of rates for taxi service by resolution
of the city council; and
6 Earl W. Howard, the present holder of the sale franchise for
7 operation of taxi service within this city, having requested an
increase for such taxi service and
8 Good cause having been shown,
9 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
1 OF SAN JACINTO sitting in session the 12th day of December, 1974 ,
10 as follows .
11 ; 1. The council determines that the public convenience and
12i necessity requires an increase in the rates for taxi service as
herein prescribed in order to improve and maintain the taxi service
13 , for the people of this city.
Z4i2 .. The fare for taxi service within this city is established
as follows :•
- 15i a. One Dollar Twenty cents ($1. 20) for thefirst one-
16 fourth mile of travel and twenty cents ' ($. 20) for each additional,
one-fourth mile of travel.
17 b; In addition thirteen and one-half cents ($. 13-1f2)
for each minute of delay en route or for waiting, shall be charged. )
Z3i Whenever the speed of travel falls below eight miles per hour,

the delay ch'arcre shall apply while travel is maintained below said
rate of Speed.
