RESOLUTION OF T11E CITY COUI\i IL OF THE CITY OF
SAN JACINTO CALIFORNIA, -PRO iIBITIN"G PARKING ON
THE EAST SIDE OF SAN JACINTO AVENUE FROM
INTERSECTION WITH SIXTH STREET TO INTERSECTION
OF ALLEY BETWEEN FIFTH AND MAIN STREETS.
THIS RESOLUTION is adopted with reference to the following facts:
Traffic and parking volume has increased on streets here-
inafter names so that it has become difficult to assure two-way
passage on such streets when parking is allowed an both sides.
The 'City Administration has attempted to poll the feelings
of the residents of said,. streets and has found them to be generally
receptive to the action herein taken.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESdI,VED, by the City. Council of the City
of San Jacinto, in regular session, this 2nd day of July, 1974
as follows -
1. `The council finds the foregoing facts to be true.
2. it is hereby directed that parking shall be prohibited on:
The East side of San Jacinto Avenue from intersection with
Sixth Street to intersection of alley between Fifth and Main Streets .
3 . The City Traffic Engineer shall cause the appropriate markinc
to be placed at said locations and th .s resoluuion shall become effect_-. ,
upon the placement of such marking.
4. The City Clerk shall cer�ify -o the adoption of this resolutio..
and transmit a copy hereof to th` Division of Higrways for approval
pursuant to the provisions of Section 21104 of the Vehicle Code.
. PASSED AND ADOPTED the 2nd day of July 1974.
