2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
3 JACINTO, CALIFORNIA, COMMENDING LT. WILLIAM PARK OF
THE RIVERSIDE COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT FOR HIS
ADMINISTRATION OF THE SAN JACINTO POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the San Jacinto Police Chief resigned in late 1973; and
5
WHEREAS , the Riverside County Sheriff was asked to lend assistance in oper-
6
7 ting the Police Department while recruiting for a new Chief of Police took place ;
8 and
WHEREAS , Lt. William Park's services were loaned to the City of San Jacin-
9
to as Administrator of the Police Department October 1 , 1973; and
10
WHEREAS , Lt. Park rendered his professional services until February 11 ,
11
12 1974 unstintingly, loyally and with effective leadership.
13 NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN

The City Council expresses its appreciation and commends Lt. Park for as-
15i
16 sisting the San Jacinto Police Department when said Department needed help and
17 for maintaining good working standards while performing his regular duties as
18
Station Commander in Hemet; and
�
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that certified copies of this Resolution be pre
19
20 sented to Lt. Park, the Riverside County Sheriff and the Riverside County. Board
21 ' of Supervisors .
22 MOVED, PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February 1974.
