1 RESOLUTION NO. 1013
RESOLUTION OFTHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN JACINTO RECOMMENDING THE APPROVAL OF
-3 QUARRY PERMIT APPLICATION OF DJB PROPERTIES
IN JUARO CANYON.

5 This resolution is adopted with reference to the following
facts :

A. Application is now pending approval by the County of River-
7 side to permit operation of a quarry pit in Juaro Canyon by DJB
Properties.

B. The site location is very near to the sphere of influence
9 on file for the City of San Jacinto submitted to Local Agency
Formation Commission.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
11 of San Jacinto meeting in regular session the 22nd day of January
1974 as follows :

1. The Council finds the proposed operation will not have a
13 , significant adverse environmental impact on the San Jacinto area
in the San Jacinto Valley.

2. The Council further finds the proposed activity is one
151reasonably consistent with the land and the area and the fruits of
, economic activity far outweighs the potential disadvantages of said
16 activity .
17 3, The City Council recommends the Honorable Board of Super-
visors of the County of Riverside approve the application by DJB
18 Properties subject to reasonable conditions.
19 4. The City Clerk is instructed to forward certified copies
to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and the Planning Depart--
20 ment of the County of Riverside and a copy to DJB Properties.
21 ADOPTED this 22nd day of January 1974 .hp the-followinq vote:
